Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a language based learning difference that primarily affects reading, spelling, and phonological processing. Individuals with dyslexia may have difficulty decoding words, matching letters to sounds, and recognizing familiar words quickly and accurately. Signs can include slow or effortful reading, frequent spelling errors, trouble with reading comprehension, and difficulty learning a foreign language. Early identification and targeted, evidence-based interventions—such as structured literacy approaches—can significantly improve reading skills and academic outcomes.
