Developmental Screenings
As part of a grant Happy Feet has been awarded, Summit Speech Therapy is offering speech and language screenings at no cost to families. If appropraite, additional classroom level support is also available. Summit is also provided infant bottle feeding and picky eating support.
If additional, formal testing is recommended SLP will inform parents. Parents can call to schedule this testing with Summit, or referral can be sent depending on insurance.
Ongoing Speech Therapy
If therapy is recommended parents can opt to complete this in clinic while they are present or during regular Happy Feet childcare hours. This is a great option for families who have work/scheduling conflicts.
If therapy is completed at Happy Feet
Parents will recieve electronic notes after each session
Childcare providers can also recieve education on strategies to support the child
Additional visits or phone calls can be scheduled to provide parents with updates on progress
Families can be directly referral to Summit Speech or call us to schedule evaluation and inquire about option for treatment at Happy Feet if they are already enrolled there.
